Dr. Karen Ho received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA, School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Ho chose to hone her clinical skills with advanced training by completing a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. Upon completion of training, Dr. Ho founded Palm View Dental Alhambra in 2006 while also teaching as a part-time clinical faculty at her alma mater, UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dentistry is an ever-evolving specialty and Dr. Ho understands the importance of continuing education to keep her practice state-of-the-art. She spends countless hours taking advanced esthetics, occlusion, Invisalign, dental implant, and sleep apnea courses to stay at the forefront of dentistry. This is to ensure that she provides her patients with the best dental care in Alhambra.
Dr. Ho is a Top 1% Invisalign Diamond Provider for three consecutive years 2020-2023. As the Top 1% Invisalign Provider worldwide, this award is granted to very few selected dentists who show experience, skill, and mastery in completing advanced Invisalign cases. As a dental professional and educator, Dr. Ho truly believes in disease prevention through patient education and preventive treatment in order for her patients to maintain a beautiful and healthy smile. Her approach to dentistry is through empathy, mutual respect and most importantly a light gentle touch. She considers her patients an extension of her own family. Her support team and associate dentists also hold the same beliefs and values, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience during each and every visit.
When Dr. Ho is not shopping around for dental technology and influencing dentistry, she spends time with her two young daughters, Maddie and Katherine, creating beautiful memories.
